Pool Cover Rebates Brisbane Brisbane City Council rebates ended on 30 June 2008 but rebates are still available from the Queensland Government. See below For further information click here.
South East Queensland The Queensland Government offers up to $200 rebate for pool covers in areas of South East Queensland not covered by Council schemes - see below for details of these. The rebate is available for swimming pool covers with a minimum 25 square metre surface and a minimum material thickness of 400 microns. The cover must be endorsed under the SmartApproved WaterMark Scheme with a minimum warranty of 5 years. If a pool cover was purchased prior to 13 June 2006, this scheme allows you to claim a rebate for fitting a roller to the existing pool cover even if the roller is purchased after this date. This applies in all council areas covered by the Home WaterWise Rebate Scheme. For further information on the scheme click here. For a list of eligible pool covers click here. Western Australia Western Australian customers who purchase a Sancell 500 & 600 micron swimming pool cover after 1 July 2007 are eligible for a Waterwise Rebate to a maximum of $200 or 50% of the retail price of the cover, whichever is the lesser amount. For further information pelase click here
