| 1 | Place your pool blanket on the surface of your pool with the bubble side facing downward. |
| 2 | Before trimming your pool blanket it’s important to float it on your pool for a few hours. This allows packing creases to settle. |
| 3 | Then it’s ready to cut. The blanket should be cut 5-7.5cm over the edge of your pool and up the tiles. Take care that it remains below the rim of your pool. Your cover will float on the pool surface with the edges curved up the tiling, creating a dish-like effect and preventing debris from entering the pool. Cut a small flap, approximately 5cm, so you can hose debris that collects on your cover into the skimmer box. Note: When cutting the blanket to shape, cut oversize and allow to settle for finesse trimming later |
| 4 | Once your blanket has been cut to size, it doesn’t need weights or ties to keep it in place. With the bubble-side placed downward on the surface of your pool, it will float in position through both heavy winds and rain. |
